Today's world caters to literally hundreds of styles of music and your union can benefit all the musicians performing these styles.
- SYMPHONIC MUSICIANS: Local 92 represents all the members of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra as well as many of the local municipal orchestras, opera, ballet and chamber groups.
- THEATER MUSICIANS: Local 92 represents all the musicians performing in all the local theaters including Sheas Performing Arts Center, the Kavinoky Theater, Studio Arena, and the Irish Classical Theater.
- FULL TIME MUSICIANS:Musicians who play music full time for a living whether it's jazz, country, rock or hip-hop are guaranteed all the protections afforded by membership.
- CASUAL OR PART TIME MUSICIANS: By far the largest percentage of musicians are in this category. We offer all the assistance normally needed to pursue your craft on a part time basis and to help you earn the money you deserve. This category can also include teachers, copyists, composers, and jingle writers.
